Our moment in the sun has ended and we must fade into the night knowing that while it lasted.... it was good.

Unless he has a racial or cultural bias against them...
Edit: It is fascinating from a political science viewpoint: it appears that Obama, like GW Bush in 2000 is in on the electoral college, but not the popular vote. Since 2000, democrats have pushed for doing away with the electoral college.
On the same note, the voters returned republicans to the majority of the House of Representatives, inspired by the Tea Party movement of 2010. On the other hand, the Senate has stayed with the democrats, echoing the anti-war sentiment of 2006 - where Obama seems at odds with his party given the surges, drone strikes and expansion of military.
Finally, with the Senate majority leader stating last week that he would never work with Romney if elected president, it remains to be seen if he will insist that the republicans not follow his example and demand that republicans compromise, despite his obvious unwillingness to do so. It will be interesting.

Wrong.
I don't think anyone is expecting him to look out for the best interests of cartoon characters.
