While she's in pain from this thing, she can't work. And while she can't work, she's running out of cash.

Leaving the EU was a bad idea.
French HR won't bat an eyelid to this. Too busy planning creative lunch-breaks with eager colleagues to care.
Excuse me, I must leave and have to have a chat with a intern who wrote a lovely, graphic, erotic fiction about my CEO having an affair with the EXO. Both straight men. She did so during working hours. And left the result on the server.
Turns out she was following unclear instructions from her training officer, and now, one of us has got the nickname "Cake".
