This is a link post I Can’t Believe It’s Not Scorn!
I liked Scorn for the most part but £30 for a game you can finish in a few hours is asking too much.

I don’t know if it’s the general aesthetic or the throat singing but I sense there won’t be a single original idea in this one. Different studio, by the way.

This is a normal post I played scorn on gamepass.
Unfortunately to the casual observer, the aesthetic screams 'This is a Doom game!'. Whereas it's actually a puzzle game. Personally, I found it boring.

This is a normal post In fairness to them the trailer did flat out say it’s not a shooter.
Playing it was more liking walking through a book of concept art.

New DOOM game next year though!

I liked both 2016 and Doom Eternal.

This is a normal post I got bored with the first big puzzle
Couldn't be bothered. I'm too lazy for puzzle games

This is a normal post I think I know which one you mean.
Have you had a look at Saturn’s Children yet? I’ve read most of the Murderbot Diaries now; they’re alright but really, really short.

This is a normal post yeah read it
Great stuff. Yeah the murderbot stories are too short. I guess that means they must be good. I like the humour of them

I just remembered another book in this theme. Sea of Rust by C. Robert Cargill. Fucking fantastic might be part of a series, can't remember

Oh and Service Model by Adrian Tchaikovsky, not started it yet but he's always brilliant, one of my favourite authors

This is a normal post I’ll have a look at those.
I was thinking Three Body Problem for something new but I haven’t heard many good things.

I’ll leave you with Neptune’s Brood.

This is a normal post I bounced off three body problem
Very dense, hard to slog through. Tchaikovsky is great and has written a fucking ton of stuff. If he clicks with you there's a huge amount to binge on.

Cheers, bought it, next on the list
