What do you mean 'rest of the western world'?
The way of thinking he's talking about is far far more prevalent in developing countries.

I got on a flight from Prague to Glasgow
and some middle aged 'weegies got on and said "I think we are the only Westerners on this flight!". Admittedly, there were few scottish people, but what the hell part of the world do they think Prague is in?
