Jaws - the lost 1980s updated score

It's a little-known fact that in the 1980s, Universal Pictures briefly investigated updating aspects of some of its classic movie properties in order to interest TV channels and possible create a new line of sell-through VHS tapes.
Naturally, Jaws came up for consideration, but the costs of updating the shark effects were simply much too high. However, as an experiment, it was decided to play with the music in order to make it more hip and contemporary.
Kept under wraps for decades, here, finally, is a brief sample of the altered score.
