This is a normal post Bible argument? Here you go:
1) Man is fallible, so the bible must be too.

Man put the Bible together. It has had numerous translations and alot of information has been changed.
Proof? The 1600 year old Bible that has recently been published online. Alot of things in this Bible are not in the vurrent modern Bible. If the Bible was written by God and is infallible then the 1600 copy would of matched the modern Bible word for word. It doesn't

2) God wrote the Bible.
If God wrote the Biuble wouldn;t it contain the truth of God? Truths that support each other and work together to better mankind?
So it then wouldn't contain contradictory statements or secrets about the universe that couldn;t be proven at that time. (flat earth anyone?)

3) We should follow the laws as set in the Bible.
Which laws? The laws that say that: killing someone, picking up sticks on sunday or having a wank on the ground should be punished by death?
Oh the gay law? In the same passage that says men can't shave and you can only wear natural clothes unlike that gortek jacket you're wearing you clean shaven person?

The Bible may of been inspired by God in it's creation but it's been used and abused by mankind for their own goals and gains.

This is a normal post no no no
duh.

1) Moses wrote the Bible (well, the first five books anyway). He was inspired by [insert fictional being here] and therefore it was actually written by [insert fictional being here], using Moses as a medium.

Therefore he couldn't possibly have made any errors because it was actually [insert fictional being here] doing the writing.

2) No. Why would [insert fictional being here] want to reveal the whole truth? Where would the fun be on judgement day? hm?

And anyway, we're predestined to find out the other bits and pieces as we go along, rather than know everything.

3) Of course not! Because not being allowed to pick up sticks on a Sunday would be completely silly. Whereas not being allowed to marry if you're a priest is totally sensible and logical.

Yours bloody sarcastically,
crunchy

This is a normal post Nothng too offensive there.
Apart from which twat it is who feels they have to "illustrate" these things. Christ, I have to flick open a new tab so I don't have to see the oh so hilariously literal interpretation of the words I am quite capable of visualising in my own headbrain, thanks.
