This is a normal post I have to take issue with the words “popular” and “comedian”.
If you go back and watch Little Britain I think you’d be hard pressed to see it as anything other utter shite, Tom Baker excepted of course.

This is a normal post I will never forget when Gordon Brown was asked what his favourite tv show was.
Little Britain, he implausibly replied. In the interest of balance, David Cameron chose as one of his Desert Island Discs ‘Ernie’ (The Fastest Milkman in the West). Which is worse? A populist porkie or weird confession of a penchant for a warbling sex pest?

This is a normal post And May said NCIS.
Given that you mentioned both Cameron and a song I’ve never heard I can’t tell which of the two was a “porkie”.

This is a normal post The disturbing thing is Cameron was telling the truth.
Apparently he also mentions it in his memoir that no one apart from reviewers and political hacks read.

I have watched only one episode of NCIS. It wasn’t as good as The Bill.

This is a normal post So hackneyed and over-dramatised that it's practically painful to watch.

This is a normal post to be fair, neither of them just posted a link to a story about a dog nonce

This is a normal post Agreed, if you look back on it now it's a load of lowbrow, low effort bollocks.
But there's no denying that it was massively popular at the time, and I suspect that a significant proportion of the individuals censuring Little Britain in 2023 fucking loved it 20 years ago.
