This is a link post The Consequences
Seeing as the "Consequences will never be the same" video is on the popular page, people might want to see what happened next.

This is a normal post I should really start a consultation company to deal with this sort of thing
She and her dad just need to put up a video saying "lol trolled you all" and everyone will lose interest.

This is a normal post That said
Bullying an 11 year old girl (however stupid her YouTube videos might be) is pretty damn nasty.

And I really don't think the cunts at 4chan would have stopped if the family said they were trolling; they'd just have got even more fired up.

This is a normal post You know
4chan isn't actually anywhere near as bad as people think. B3TA's /talk is actually worse in terms of concentrated malice and hate.

I had used merely to be bemused by /b/, but I'm developing an active dislike for it.

This is a normal post It's become the cespit of the internet
A home for casual racism, child porn and bullies.

This is why /links is my choice of port of call on the seven seas of the Information Superhighway. :)

This is a normal post ^and this
it really is the lowest point on the internet. It's all the bad dystopic predictions of what the internet good be with none of the good happy stuff.
lolcats and rick astley are not enough to counter the despicable people there and the things they do

This is a normal post Nice parents.
"Though Leonhardt [the mother]says Child Protection Services is in fact involved in the case. "Something we never wanted!" Leonhardt's husband shouted from somewhere in the room when she told us this over the phone."
Must be something he's not telling us...

This is a normal post I don't like the sentence "It's not funny now that she's been placed under police protection."
I'm not saying it is funny necessarily, but I object to the idea that one man thinks he can take it on himself to decide what is and is not funny.
