Shows how pretty much every scene in the film is nicked from others. I knew of a few but not basically all of them.

I was with it
for a bit, but it seemed to be getting more and more forced. Then they pointed out that there's a white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland as well, I facepalmed, and that's me done I'm afraid.

kung fu movie looks a bit like kung fu movie shock
shooting scene inside office building looks a bit like shooting scene inside office building
and a lot of it was deliberate homages to films by the dirrector or nods to cultural references
not exactly a "remake"

Wrote about this for GCSE English
It obviously does reference a lot of other films, particularly Ghost in the Shell. I remember as a kid tying together a string of films that you could say form a rough "arc" plot-wise. Ghost in the Shell, then Terminator, then The Matrix. There may have been more in the chain.
