It can be fun to have a movie taken apart - but clearly they enjoyed it a lot too.
it feels like the set designer spent about fourteen minutes Wikipedia-ing the Ottoman Empire and was just like “coffee, croissants, pointy hats, lots of hair gel, let’s do this.”

Yeah, it sums up the film pretty well
but for a fictional piece of work about a fictional (ish) character, like them, I enjoyed it too.
