(you can torrent it for free quite easily)
not fire and sword btw, i've never tried that version and the guns feature sounds a little broken. "warband" should be the traditional one.
Edit: OH! and yakuza 4 is worth looking into. if you like gta.

Mount and Blade is good and all
but the add ons are bugged up the arse for me. Also, you should go in knowing that there is absolutely no story line or characterisation. It is pure sandbox. The only one better I can think of is MINECRAFT.
