I happen to think you can make jokes about anything you like
but that everyone else has the right to judge you for them.
Not to say you are wrong in anything you said.
He has contributed massively to the tribalism, and division in this country, so you have to have some understanding that there will be many people really tormented about having to care for a man they hate. Especially if the jokes funny.
I wish Boris a full recovery. If my father is a yardstick, things will get worse before they get better turning a corner in a week's time. As far as I know he's not my father, and is younger, and he did jog within the last year or two - so hoping for a speedier recovery. All the best Boris.
