That was a fightback by journalists after years of censorship.
They felt, rightly in my opinion, that censoring terrorists didn't work, so they made a mockery of the censorship laws by finding loopholes. Most of the people involved, in both Britain and Ireland, in originating the voice-over scam had no time for Sinn Féin (at whom the censorship was mainly aimed) but they helped end a fucking stupid policy that both our countries implemented.
