Soda stream
(re-released now... or did it ever go away?)
I remember being so excited when we got it... and all the flavors tasted of shite!
Like most in the 70s/80s it sat gathering dust once the Co2 tube was empty... (and then 90% of getting "busy with the fizzy" was just done with cordial)

I bought one and had great fun with it.
When we'd used up all the expensive cordial flavours that came with it we used ordinary squash instead, and then my eldest son and I had a go with other things instead of water.

Pop - SodaStream blew up and drenched us and the kitchen.
Cold tea - SodaStream blew up and drenched us and the kitchen.
Milk -SodaStream blew up and drenched us and the kitchen.
etc

You get the idea.

I think you were doing it wrong, if it blew up.
Friend of mine carbonated milk in his SodaStream - he made the mistake, so we wouldn't have to.

How the hell can you do it wrong?
Fill bottle, insert tube into bottle, stand bottle in Sodastream, close Sodastream, press button on top, Sodastream blows up. Carbonated milk everywhere.

We couldn't afford a soda stream so we had the fast n'Fizzy!
Same idea but you didn't need bottles. It fizzed the water in the machine and you just put your glass with concentrate under the nozzle, pulled the lever thing and the water poured into your glass.

(I also tried to make fizzy milk. It didn't work out well for me either)

Just tried to google it there but can't find it. If i do, i'll post a link. Not that anyone gives a shite.
