Cigarettes, gambling, porn and booze. What's your addiction? How low have you sunk and how have you tried to beat it?
Thanks to big-girl's-blouse for the suggestion

Here's my addiction. "Not-being-alone".
I've been married before and am now divorced.
Since being divorced I've been in and out of a number of relationships which, with the benefit of 20:20 hindsight have been wholly unsuitable but I've stayed in - and near-bankrupted myself - because I hate being alone.

Although I see it mainly in women, I can't understand how people are afraid of being alone.
If you can't enjoy spending time with yourself then how can you expect anyone else to enjoy spending time with you.

that getting a pet may be substantially cheaper? It'll also be faithful to you if you feed it, unless it's a cat of course in which case your natural role in life is to feed it and don't expect any gratitude!
Hmmm, a pet, a blow up doll and a radio, I think that covers most bases...

the route of being completely alone. Well, it chose me, mainly through a massive lack of self confidence.
However, a gay friend told me last night that I'm better looking than my other mate, so batten dowm the hatches for christmas ladies, I'm coming in!
Wait..... maybe he was just being nice. :(
