A quasi-racist accent, "look at me, look at me" screen presence and such a degree of stupidity and clumsiness that in any sane film he'd have got himself killed in the first few seconds?I can't see what anyone's problem with him is. Of course, it is good to have the occasional comic relief character, what with it being a film series for both adults AND children.

Trying to kid yourself that Star Wars is anything other than a kids film is tragic.George Lucas falls victim to this, hence all the intergalactic politics guff that clogs up episodes I & II.
