Home made hash browns are tremendous with a runny egg. Grate a potato or two with the cheese grater onto kitchen paper. Ring the starch out over the sink and make sure you don't leave any paper bits with the dried out potatoes. Season with salt and pepper, then fry with butter until crispy and golden brown. Lob an egg on top and you will soon be in flavour country
