This is a question Accidental animal cruelty

I once invented a brilliant game - I'd sit at the top of the stairs and throw cat biscuits to the bottom. My cat would eat them, then I'd shake the box, and he would run up the stairs for more biscuits. Then - of course - I'd throw a biscuit back down to the bottom. I kept this going for about half an hour, amused at my little game, and all was fine until the cat vomited. I felt absolutely dreadful.

Have you accidentally been cruel to an animal?
This question has been revived from way, way, way back on the b3ta messageboard when it was all fields round here.

That's nothing...
a mate of mine, who we will call Andy, as that is his name..
Anyway, he once got 2 grasshoppers, pulled off thier heads, and swapped them over. They lived for hours after, they were still alive when I went to his place to see after he'd rung me to say 'Guess what I just did...?'
Probably just a reflex action and they were dead but the bodies hadn't realised it I guess.

This is the same kid who, on finding a dead squirrel in the road, took it home to disect it..even he couldn't manage it, after the first cut he changed his mind, and decided to cremate it..so he puts it in a carrier bag, puts the bag on top of a sizable pile of logs, then pours petrol on it and lit it...bag burns, squirrels fur burns off, fire goes out...

Next step he places squirrel in some old wooden box and buries it.

3 weeks later his mum, fed up with the smell of death in the garden digs up the recently disturbed ground to see what's up, and is confronted by a box, half full of water with a rotting squirrel.
Andy was grounded for quite some time after that :D
He was only 8 at the time :o
Not worth it's own post as it was intentional.
