I think you need to be clearer. What happens, in what context?
To the corpse? Usually it's buried, cremated or left to rot as it goes undiscovered in the middle of a forest.
After death? Nothing? Heaven? Hell? Probably the former, unless their is a grand sky-wizard, then the latter is most likely.
