Seen three with my own eyes that I'd give a pass to.

Forgave 505 EXY on the grounds that the woman driving it was.

Forgave FAT 61T (with bolt through 6 to make it a G) on the grounds that the bloke driving it was.

And forgave PEN 15 on the grounds that it's the legendary "one that got away" before the DVLA realised plates could spell things. And because it presumably cost a fortune and someone was prepared to spend house-price-style money on saying clearly that they're a dick. That's all the way round through dickish and back round into brilliant.

Saw a good-looking blonde driving this at Edinburgh airport a few years ago. Had a mental image of her pestering her boyfriend/husband for a personalised reg and that being the result. The only one I've ever admired.

I drove up the m40 behind US 51KHS the other day
Not sure if it meant American Sikhs or "we Sikhs" and didn't get much chance to check at that speed...

Also I had a holiday job as a letting agent and my car was 1 LET. came out of one viewing and some twunt with a big black permanent marker had changed it to TOILET :(
