Buggered if I can remember how I stumbled across b3ta.comBut somehow I did, sometime in 2003.
I lurked for a few months, too lazy to bother registering and just having fun looking at all the pictures.
I finally took the plunge and registered when I had an idea for a picture for the weekly compo. More importantly, an idea I could actually realise in Paint.
Since then, I've met some lovely people, learnt how to do a bit of photoshopping, had lots of laughs and won a PSP (which I still use daily) for taking the piss out of Virgin Money.
Getting my first fp was simultaneously very surprising and very gratifying. And the first time I got emailed a picture I'd put on b3ta was also very odd.
