Happy 10th Birthday B3ta
Ten years ago today we launched B3ta (well the version of it you'd recognise). Happy birthday B3ta! As a special one off please add your memories of B3ta here. E.g. How you found the site, or an early thing you saw on the site, maybe the people you've met or how the community is/was part of your life.

Not been about as much recently work took over and life has a habit of catching up and changing things. Memories, good and bad - saddest times included the loss of "That Nikon Fella" and of course "Jesse" (and knowing me I've spelt their user names wrong there) Both fine board users in their own rights and both taken from us far too soon. I never got to meet them but in a strange way felt that I knew them personally so it really was a genuinely sad moment when I learnt of their passing.
Happy moments? too many to mention, winding up trolls was fun - playing tunes on late night "radio" to drunk fellow b3ta users was indeed something I won't forget in a while (nor indeed will my neighbours on that night I forgot to unplug the monitor speakers and broadcast my entire show at full volume at 3am)
Happy Birthday indeed you cunts.

You make an excellent point
Let's all raise a glass to b3ta's dear departed tonight. And then fall over. It's what they would have wanted.
