Get hold of a copy of the new NHS constitution.Find out what your rights are, write a complaint to your PCT and copy in your SHA(strategic health authority). Be polite and professional but be sure to repeatedly quote the Constitution, watch the waiting lists disappear.

Nah, OP is rightThe magic entitlement to a second opinion disappears when they point out there *is* no second psychiatrist in the area available within 8 months to give you a second opinion. :/
