I've seen stuff like that happen here recentlyStaff on temp contracts being laid off due to personal tradegy; one girl who was 4 months pregnant was laid off for taking 3 days off to visit her mum in hospital as she had just discovered terminal cancer. There's no words to describe it, inhuman doesn't even come close.
