Nope, that's not about it...I expected TSB to reject the direct debit as the account that it was linked to was closed, rather than redirect it to a different neglected savings account with insufficient funds which I'd had since I was 10 or so.
The insurance company would have then contacted me to check the payment details and I would have told them my new account details at my new bank.
That's what would have made sense to me, do you work for TSB or something?
