Or possiblythey had an idea you were shite with money and then just did some snooping of their own, and found out the sum of your debts and told you it was a benign computer program just so you wouldn't hate them for going through your stuff intentionally...?

Oh I couldn't hate them for it......that's the schpiel they gave me and I bought it lock stock!
They helped me fix what had become a massive problem and for that I'm eternally grateful to them.
