This is a question Banks

Your Ginger Fuhrer froths, "I hate my bank. Not because of debt or anything but because I hate being sold to - possibly pathologically so - and everytime I speak to them they try and sell me services. Gold cards, isas, insurance, you know the crap. It drives me insane. I ALREADY BANK WITH YOU. STOP IT. YOU MAKE ME FRIGHTED TO DO MY NORMAL BANKING. I'm angry even thinking about them."

So, tell us your banking stories of woe.

No doubt at least one of you has shagged in the vault, shat on a counter or thrown up in a cash machine. Or something

My title
My title is Ms for the following reasons I can't double barrel as my first name is already hyphenated and another hyphen would look silly. So I was just going to keep my surname. This upset my husband to be. So I agreed to change to his surname and keep my title as I did not wish to be defined by my marital status. It also is easier having the same surname now we have produced our little crotch fruit

Really
It's your own fault for being so damn fussy. You honestly think it makes a blind bit of difference to anyone, yourself included, if you're Mrs or Ms?

Your bank should ask for the taxi money back.

strange logic
in most of the world Ms. indicates a woman who is divorced and there fore a higher risk for credit, leases and contracts.

Personally
I'd be more concerned about my wifes motives for wanting to keep a title which suggests she's single than whether or not she took my name.

But maybe that's just me.

it's perhaps worth considering your own absence of a name change
Your title doesn't change when getting married. Why should hers?

Surnames?
I've always found that a woman changing her surname to match her husbands seems a little like incest.
