This is a question Bastard Colleagues

You've all known one. The brown-nosing fucker, the 'comedian', the drunk, the gossip and of course the weird one with no mates who goes bell ringing, looks like Mr Majika and sports a monk's haircut (and is a woman).

Tell us about yours...

Thanks to Deskbound for the idea

For LLMF
Aahh, you want a different bunch of fine fellows to blame for that, it's a long and boring story but due to "opening up the market" "equivalence of input" and "fair competition", everyone, BT included, has to buy their bits of wire from OpenReach at the same "fair" price, even though they're a part of BT.

Otherwise it'd be an unfair competitive advantage and therefore bad for the consumer of course.

I'm sure that will give you a warm feeling as you hand over your £124, knowing that one multi-billion pound global communicationss provider isn't unfairly undercutting another multi-billion pound communications provider.

Although the engineer in me would like to point out it's not just plugging in a bit of wire...

Length? <3km twisted copper pair from exchange to customer premises for optimum performance.
