great momentsMy life swings back and forth from crap to great regularly.
But one of the memorable nights was when, after 3 miserable years working in an other town in a store I hated, I was told as I was preparing to leave for the soul destroying 90 minute commute home, that my transfer request was agreed. I was now moving to a store a 10 minute walk from my house. I would now get to see my kids, have a life and not bankrupt myself travelling everyday.
I walked home from the station in the rain in the autumnal twilight listening to "But Not Tonight.." by Depeche Mode, which summed up that happy moment.
