Beautiful Moments
The best night of my life was spent lying in the bottom of a boat, floating down a river low enough to be under the thin layer of mist gathering at about 3am such that it scudded between me and the stars.
Make us feel all warm and fluffy. Tell us about the most beautiful moments in your life so far.

Double Arch
I thought he was a friend, but he was the ultimate control-freak. He wouldn't even let me choose a radio station to listen to! He held me a virtual hostage on a long auto trip through Utah. Even kidnappers need a rest, however. After driving all night, we stopped at dawn at Arches National Park.
We stumbled out out of the car, took a short walk, looked up and saw beautiful Double Arch. The sound of the breeze through the arch, and the twittering birds in the juniper trees, suddenly deepened. I felt an incredible rush, and suddenly had a religious epiphany - I was truly One With The Universe!
Then the amazing moment passed. Reality settled in again. We turned around, walked back, climbed back into the car, and drove off. I suffered many more claustrophobic hours in his wretched company before finally taking inspiration from the religious experience, clenching my fist, and delivering a richly-deserved punch to his face.
