Fish tank waterIn the days before efficient water siphons were cheaply available in home aquarist shops, it was normal to put a tube into the water and briefly suck the end to start the flow. Misjudging the timing by a fraction of a second would lead to a mouthful of faeces-filled stagnant water.
It doesn't taste even half as nice as it sounds...
