Similar thing happened with me
Except I had bread, and margerine. For three days. Toast, or marg sandwich? I may even have tried a toast sandwich for dinner. Did get some nice sticky black though.

.. but it results in nausea and vomiting. Marijuana resin is also edible but, as pointed out, results in hunger.
I must be old though -- a quid used to buy three cans of beans, three 'spaghetti' and a few tomato in my day.
