Russian Roulette.
Many may find it sickening, but my other half concocts a fine dessert of maraschino cherry wrapped in marzipan and coated in chocolate. They are most splendid.

Should a gathering arise, it is a fine jape to prepare a number of these for serving to guests, but to place amongst them a similarly prepared marzipan wrapped, chocolate coated, over-cooked and soggily chilled Brussels Sprout.

Cherry, marzipan and chocolate.
Can you convince Mrs Pier to part with the recipe?

[edit] the cherry one, not the brussels sprout.

Recipe is, indeed, easy.
But not quite as easy as yours. The twelve step program:

1) Take cherry.
2) Wrap cherry in marzipan to desired thickness (about half an inch is recommended).
3) Soak in brandy for an hour or so (Optional).
4) Coat in melted chocolate.
5) Allow to set whilst preparing more cherries in a similar manner.
6) Coat in melted chocolate again.
7) Attempt to allow to set before consuming.
8) Lick bowls while waiting.
9) Consume.
10) Consume more.
11) Feel slightly ill.
12) Have another anyway.

*Grin*
I was extecting it to be a chilli concealed, but thinking about it the sprout would definitely be funnier. Good call! :o)
