This is a question Redundant technology

Music on vinyl records, mobile phones the size of house bricks and pornography printed on paper. What hideously out of date stuff do you still use?

Thanks to boozehound for the suggestion

Dunno about cheques but cash has tech to stop copying
If you look closely at banknotes you'll see apparently random groups of yellow dots on them. (On a tenner, to the left of the Queen's head, in the otherwise fairly clear bit)
These tell colour photocopiers (and possibly scanners but not sure) that you're trying to copy cash and to not let you.

I've sometimes considered getting a t-shirt made with this pattern on
See what it gums up...
