I've gota couple of those heavy desk fans from the 40's.
Solid stuff with a fan cage that would hold back a hungry tiger. Marvellous whirring noise they make.

Ah! I see where you're coming from. This, however, is a fold out Victorian ladies' fan with ivory handles. Old and classy (bit like me really!)
