IgnoranceI once was in a programming class where the task was "build a calculator". A student did one with buttons 1, 2, 3 all the way up to about 25 and then ran out of space on the screen. We've asked this before but liked it so much we're asking again: What's the best example of ignorance you've encountered?

HMMMe too. Got a Landcruiser hire jeep stuck in the sand about 10mins after renting it.
Phoned the hire company and 20mins later a local chap came flying over the dunes in his car to rescue us.
He was driving a 2CV. And didn't get stuck.
He did give us a tutorial on how to drive in sand though. (let the tyres down, turn the steering hard left to hard right and back again as you go through really soft stuff, and if you get stuck rock the car to pack the sand under the wheels)
