Ignorance
I once was in a programming class where the task was "build a calculator". A student did one with buttons 1, 2, 3 all the way up to about 25 and then ran out of space on the screen. We've asked this before but liked it so much we're asking again: What's the best example of ignorance you've encountered?

see, I got this from a dictionary
ignorant
Example Sentences Origin
ig·no·rant [ig-ner-uhnt]
adjective
1.
lacking in knowledge or training; unlearned: an ignorant man.
2.
lacking knowledge or information as to a particular subject or fact: ignorant of quantum physics.
3.
uninformed; unaware.
4.
due to or showing lack of knowledge or training: an ignorant statement.
and yet I feel it misses the central point, where people have the opportunity to learn new ideas but choose to 'ignore' them, thus preserving their own idea of how the world works, then chooses to insist on their version of events in the face of contrary evidence. See Creationists, Racists, Trekkers vs Trekkies.... (EDIT also, how I recall the middle section of 'Journey To The Far Side Of The Sun' from when I saw it on TV aged 10, versus the DVD I got a few years ago from ASDA for £3. I prefer my remembered version. Maybe it was a special 'ASDA' video edit..... but I digress.)
I hope this will help and inform people who are cross at your post and come looking for evidence as to why they shouldn't tell fun stories about dumb people because the semantics of the original query mean they're too stupid to know what ignorant means :-)

There's a good body of evidence out there that says 'TL;DR'
actually could come down to 'looks too hard to bother trying to read, therefore it must be shit'.
So, I declare 'LTHTBTTR,TIMBS' as the legitimate accurate successor to those without an attention span of OOH LOOK THEY DO CHIPS!
