we get them here too in spain..I have anti mossy pillows - about 3 plug in thingys, i dont open windows. the walls and ceieling get an inspection before i sleep and a tin of insectiside at teh side of my bed.
The biting is bad, but their buzzing is worse. Very distinct high pitch which goes through me. Having one buzz right past your ear just at the point of orgasm really fucks up your day.
