This is a question Bodge Jobs

If you can't fix it with a hammer and a roll of duck tape, it's not worth fixing at all, my old mate said minutes before that nasty business with the hammer and a roll of duck tape. Tell us of McGyver-like repairs and whether they were a brilliant success or a health and safety nightmare.

what sort of motor is that?
Was it the thing where you take a sub - litre motor over there for no good reason other than it's a jolly fine adventure?

The rules have changed a little bit now though due to import laws. And I believe it's a Hyundai Accent...

Happy Days
Brings back memories of sitting at Dave Bar in UB when a Fiat panda arrived with the engine held in with one bolt and a flipflop and the rear suspension on one side held in place with a large lump of wood!

I'm SO tempted to do this years race!
My friends and I are trying to see what sort of sponsorship we can arrange already, however, I wanted to ask someone who has already been, in various places around the site they make repeated references to this being "SUPER MEGA DANGEROUS, THERE IS A PRETTY HIGH CHANCE YOU WILL DIE"

What do they really mean by that? - people are likely to drive like tits and plunge head-long into a camel or that you'll get held up by bandits, shot in the face and your corpse held to ransom? Just a general question.
