It wasn't until the b3ta mods read the Flashman novels that we changed from mild-mannered computer operators into heavily-whiskered copulators, poltroons and all round bastards in a well-known cavalry regiment.

Changed my life?i once read a pamphlet on methods of sustainable electricity generation in small townships bt A. K. Muirithi. needless to say it has not changed much, since there is still no electricity here. still, there is wireless and as long as i keep the car engine running, i can charge thos old computer of mine!
i agree with the poster who proponed Fyodor..he is wonderful.
i would say that the books that most influenced my thinking over the last few years have been those of Quine and A.J. Ayer.
i warn thee - they are boring reads.
Evelyn Waugh and Wodehouse rock, by the way.

...I've not read much of either Quine or Ayer - I found them dry rather than boring (though I can imagine how they'd become boring had read more).
