But I think you'd really like Prisoner of Love by Jean Genet. It's the novelist's autobiographical account of how he spent the last years of his life getting involved with the Blank Panthers and then joining the Fedayeen to fight for Palestinian liberation. It's awesome.

"Blank" Panthers made me laugh. I guess it is a typo. I will look him up.
