I have tried to unlock my housewith my car key!
(Remote central locking for your house would be a great thing, at least I think so.)

It is!...and not all that difficult to make yourself. I've done it and it's now second nature to press the fob and have the house all unlock...very helpful when coming back from shopping etc...
