Actually? You're not far off the truth about the dumping.
See, when Rory first turned up, I took him DEADLY SRS, and by god he loved that. After I realised I was making an arse of myself, I started being a lot more light-hearted at him, and now he only comes around to my stuff as a last resort when there's nobody else.
