I knew a family of Witnesses......who were very much like this, baffled me.
I also had the safety net of 'going back home' taken away a few years back when I was incredibly low. It's changed my relationship with my parents completely, we get on, we're like friends, but it'll never be the same again, it's been up to me to just get over it.
I'm much stronger now and I hope you will be too :)
