yeah, andif you're hanging around and want to see which thread is where the people are, the old linear style with its dependable reply count was a good way of keeping tabs on things. if the replies-to-replies-to-replies aren't included, it's easy to get all lost and bewildered. which is why we don't do /talk, because it's easy to get lost and bewildered (and abused)
