Open a second b3ta accountand use that to 'store' your username if you ever want to change it for a while.
Not much use for those who've been hijacked, I know...

Done this now and it makes senseBut it's not incredibly obvious for new users or even experienced internetters that this might be an issue. Perhaps a word in the FAQ is in order, although I doubt they'd like to encourage sockpuppets.
