My mum told me to stand up to bullies. So I did, and got wedgied every day for a month. I hated my boss.

You shouldn't bully people.
It gives them a lifelong sense of vague victimhood, which leads to them eventually joining the Taxpayers' Alliance and UKIP.

Bullying's bad.

Actually...
... if you look at Hitler's childhood and youth - it's a catalogue of abuse and involved him witnessing a parent's suicide, IIRC - it's not surprising he ended up a bit... um... odd.

Really?
I thought it all stemmed from his primary school nickname being "Shittypants Adolf".

[edit]

You may have a point though, we're discussing the most evil and disgusting people who've ever held a position of office, people who didn't bother to hide their megalomaniacal aspirations and revel in controlling a populace by the use of surveillence and fear.

Hitler and Stalin were prize shits too.

I quite like Stalin.
OK - the anti-Semitism is a problem. A big problem. But to be responsible for the deaths of 25 million... that takes vision.

If I were a left-leaning dictator (Dear Santa...)
He'd be my role model of choice. Not for the killing of 25 million people, but for the purges, showtrials and most of all his moustache of awesomeness.

It's almost Edwardian in its resolve.
