Bullies
My mum told me to stand up to bullies. So I did, and got wedgied every day for a month. I hated my boss.

No he didn't, and lets be serious for a second here,
but what he has displayed is a particularly unpleasant attitude toward the rape and subsequent suicide of a child. That's a 14 year old child. Now, this child may be fucked up and may have done horrific things to his daughter by the sound of it, and that's terrible, and she should have been removed from school. But lets not forget that a 14 year old child is going to be influenced by their parents, who by the sounds of it, where pretty awful too.
So, he sorted the problem and protected his daughter. Good, I applaud him for that. But to show such callous regard for the life of a child is really quite unpleasant. Don't wail and cry over the death, but to actually be happy is really sickening. You would expect an adult to at least have the compassion to realise that a 14 year old is not making decisions in the same way as a grown up and nobody, ever, ever, deserves to be raped.
Edit - DG has pointed out below that no reference is made to the girls age other than that she is in secondary school, this is quite correct and I don't know where I got the 14 year old thing from, never the less, she would still have been a child, so it doesn't actually detract from my argument.

How about turning it around?
And realising that what this bully did to Captain Placid's daughter was quite possibly bad enough to turn him from someone who would otherwise have not been happy at the rape and suicide into someone who was? Let's get the cause and effect right here.
And Captain Wow, I am glad you are over your bullying but I can tell you that I would accept an unreckonable amount of suffering for myself over that of my child who my whole existence is devoted to protecting.
