Thanks to glued eel for the suggestion

"I'm sorry, there is no way we can tell which one of our staff was driving the bus at that time"

Ask how they intend to fulfil their duties
under section 172 of the Road Traffic Act 1988

"no record was kept of the persons who drove the vehicle and that the failure to keep a record was reasonable."
would be their claim, I imagine.

The speeding ticket people don't bother them any more.

I'm so glad I had a camera phone on me that night!
