They put a screen up around my wife's lower section when the twins were cut out of her,and the staff made it very clear that I would not be welcome down that end during the procedure. I almost feel like I've missed out, although repeated showings of similar procedures on TV has convinced me otherwise - childbirth is invariably disgusting.
